I liked this film for the most part but totally missed that was her sister!

…econd-generation Russian immigrant, Ani has lost touch with both her parents and her Russian roots. Living with her sister in a dumpy apartment in Brooklyn’s Brighton Beach neighborhood, with the subway rattling by her window, she doesn’t much care where she’s been and shows little interest in where she’s going. She lives each moment with engaging intensity.
