Just caught this one. Maybe its because 12 Angry Men is one of my favorite films and I saw so many people bring up that film when talking about this, I had unusually high expectations even though I rarely like Eastwood films.
This was ok and I see why this might have been a streaming film. JK Simmons was great and wish we got more of the other jurors lives. But having two sisters who are judges (one who is a Superior court judge), I just know they would have something to say about the courtroom questioning. The cultural stereotypes weren't great either but really can't expect much more from the director or writer.
Having said all that, would love to see more Jury-specific court room dramas in theaters so hope this performs well on streaming.
